
You are cordially invited to participate with your group in the 6th. Anaheim Youth Mariachi
Competition to be held on Sunday October 30, 2011 at the Anaheim Pearson Park Amphitheatre.
Each group who enter the Anaheim Youth Mariachi Competition will be given 12 minutes to
showcase their music to the audience and will be evaluated by a panel of experienced mariachi
musicians.
Based on specific mariachi music criteria the judges will rate each performance on a scale of 1 to 10.
The 3 groups with the overall highest score at the end of the competition will be declared winners
- The first place winner will receive a cash price of…$ 2,000.00 plus a 25 hour CD Recording Pack
- The second place winner will receive…$ 1,000.00 plus a 20 hour CD Recording Pack
- The third place winner will receive…$ 500.00 plus a 15 hour CD Recording Pack
The competition is open to all Semi-Professional Youth Mariachi Groups.
IMPORTANT: In order to collect the monetary awards offered, the three finalist winners must
commit to perform in the Spectacular Anaheim Dia de Los Muertos Mariachi Festival to be held
